Born | South Africa |
Nationality | Irish |
Education | Ph.D. Reading University |
Occupation | CTO Software Development |
My training is as a physicist with a strong leaning towards theoretical problem solving and computing. My primary university education was at the University of Natal in South Africa and I then went on to complete a Ph.D. at Reading University.
Despite my training in Physics, my main interests are in Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science. I worked in Physics Research Management for a number of years, but always found myself drifting toward digital analysis and software development in any work that I undertook. The opportunity to move fully into software development presented itself a little over 10 years ago. I embraced the move into this field and enjoy the daily challenges associated with developing software for marketing research.
I am presently based in the West of Ireland.
