Background

25 years of losing money while playing music gives you a particular perspective. Songwriting. Jamming. Recording. Teaching: Its all done for the love of it. And you can’t preach down to anyone.

First got hooked as a kid Rich popped off on the process of playing, improving and looking for the perfect set of conditions to became the next big think in music. Soon he discovered conditions were always wrong, no one was looking for him and he had to work hard at everything. He wove his dreams into his role as white collar professional, husband and father. Today he resided in NY still dreaming of fame fortune and new guitars.

The Blog was launched in 2005 but took off in 2010. By take off it is meant that posts were more frequent. The goal of the blog is to teach others to launch big ideas with your instrument and have fun. The latest blog entries are a series on songwriting titled "Songwriting Tips" The first idea to the final product. Dixie Bosco blog will follow the topic closely with very little commentary that does not include the use and instruction on musical instruments, recording technology, playing in a band and Songwriting. As an idiot musician, Mr. Anastasio acquired a knowledge of Garage Band, iMovie user and cracking wise to get his point across.
