Reflection:

Wikipedia is a site where people are able to collaborate their ideas and information into one article. This is what our Psychology class did, but in smaller groups. As a group we were able to research information on a topic that took interest in us, divide up the different sections and make it into an informative article. While doing this project I learned a lot about Wikipedia. There were multiple of people, besides our group, who would edit our article and make contributions. We would also get feedback on the article's discussion page saying what sections needed improvement by adding certain information and if we needed to rephrase statements that did not make sense, which I think was helpful. The specific Wikipedia editing part is what I had some trouble on. When it comes to computers, I lack in that area which made it pretty difficult to figure out at first. But after watching the tutorials and seeing how my other group members entered their information I was able to figure it out. Another problem was that most of our information that came from our school's (Linfield College) library website was deleted because people that are not affiliated with the school were unable to review the articles. Overall I think doing this project and using Wikipedia was an interesting and new experience.
