Early life

[edit]

Ravneet Sippy Chadha was born in Chandigarh, India. She was sent to a British Boarding school at five years of age, in Simla, India.

She felt stifled by the many rules that she had to follow there, very different from her affectionate Punjabi joint family upbringing. Upon reaching adulthood, Sippy had a strong urge to tell her stories[3] where her unique voice would be heard through the powerful medium of films that have a worldwide outreach.

Personal life
