I plan to elaborate within the Flatland/Inland Skimboard section of the article. I also plan on adding more information under "contests". This information will regard flatland competitions. Under location, I plan on expanding on the locations within British Columbia, Canada.

Here are some credible sources that regard what I will be updating within the skimboard page.

Notes for Improvement:

Under contests, there is little to no information about flatland specific skimboard competitions within North America. I will improve the contest section by adding the "DB Dash Point Open" skimboard contest. This will include its years running and previous winners of the contest. For improvement, I will also add information about the jam style skimboard contests within British Columbia.

I plan on improving the "locations" section of the skimboard article. I will do this by including the main skimboard spots within The Lower main land and giving a brief over view of what each spot has to offer.

Under Contests:

The DB Dash point Open is a flatland contest that takes place in Federal Way Washington, U.S.A at Dash Point State Park once a yearhttps://dbskimboards.com/articles/2016-db-pro-skimboard-contest. The Dash Point Pro/Am contest has been running for thirteen yearshttps://dbskimboards.com/articles/10th-annual-dash-point-proam. The first contest happened in 2003 and the latest in 2016 where Cody Maurer of Utah won first place in the Pro divisionhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3F8HcymKw3I. Maurer landed a flawless backside 270 big-spin to front board on a launch ramp to double flat bar set-up. This banger helped him win first place. ~~~~

Under locations:

In Vancouver, British Columbia the three most popular spots to skimboard are Wreck Beach, Spanish Banks http://www.wreckbeach.org/ .

Wreck beach offers long lasting low tides. Skimboarding conditions become possible when the tide is 12.5ft or lower (often). The scene at Wreck involves mostly involves adult skimboarders. This beach is Vancouver's nude beach and can be accessed by trail six on S.W Marine Drive on the perimeter of the UBC campushttp://www.wreckbeach.org/about.html#prettyPhoto%5Bpp_gal-1%5D/0/. Spanish Banks is the most popular skimboarding beach in Canada and is deemed one of the best flatland spots in the world https://dbskimboards.com/articles/spanish-banks-skim-spot-check-4. It is located along Northwest Marine Dr west of Tolmie St, Spanish Banks Beach and consists of three distinct sections, east, west, and extension.http://vancouver.ca/parks-recreation-culture/spanish-bank-beach.aspx  Skimboarding conditions become possible when the tide is 7.5ft or lower. On any given sunny day on the weekend, there will be dozens of riders skimming among the various tidal pools <Ref>http://boredinvancouver.com/listing/skimboarding-vancouver/</Ref> Spanish Banks is often windy.
