I'm in my 50s, living in the UK. I have had a non-standard life and career/s.

My areas of expertise (to different degrees) include:

Knitting and knitwear design
Cooperative publishing
British Ales and Public Houses
Popular Poetry
Detective Fiction
Mathematics
  1. REDIRECT British Cultural Studies
the academic work of #REDIRECT Nira Yuval-Davis
wildlife gardening
neutered domestic tom-cats
laundry skills/stain removal
Primary School Mathematics education
especially for disadvantaged pupils
dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADHD,
the "national conversation" on British/#REDIRECT Englishness
the standing stones of Britain
alternative social/political/economic systems (ongoing!)

That's it for now.

"The first thing I'm going to do is expand the stub on #REDIRECT Masako Togawa". First I looked for any Japanese pages already established. (None, it seems). I know hardly any Japanese.... but I did know how to expand the stub.

I began with expanding and clarifying the small bibliography and added some Japanese links in English.

NEXT I hope to incorporate some of the info from those links and post a picture. NEED to investigate the HOWTO...

I'm never going to be more than a teeny cog in this big wheel but you know what They say: Every Little Helps ;)

I hope I do.
