Dorian Christopher Lucien Myrickes (born October 7, 1977), an American poet, writer, educator, and politician from Chicago, Illinois. Dorian's latest publishing includes "Poetry is Dead" a urban, heartfelt, love and comedy poetry book written in 2010. Dorian founded The Project Tiers Foundation, a non-profit organization created to combat the issues of Chicago youth after the beating of Derrion Albert at Fenger high school in 2009. Dorian is a community advocate who fights for education, economics, environment, and technology for urban and rural communities.
