Treatment for scabies

Permethrin ointment usually before bedtime , apply all over the body to kill the mite for single time if infection is severe required the second application apply after 3 to 7days .

Oral or topical application of the ivermectin should be of great use in treatment of scabies in single dose but restricted Below 6years children's.

In children the sulphur ointment 10% use to treat scabies.

Along with, antihistamines H1 blockers used to treat the itching and anti-inflammatory drugs to reduce the inflammation.
