Sullivan Central High - Student's Union

Are you tired of being told what to do? by Teachers... no less?

Well! The SCHSU has the answer to the question that you probably never asked. Have you ever felt that you, as a student, were treated poorly? Badly? Even Inhumanely?

Even if by chance, you dont feel a bit wronged, then you could at least admit that your treatment could be better!

We will stand up for your rights as a student, a citizen, and most importantly, as an individual human being! I know that I have experienced times when I felt that I was fighting a battle that was pretty one-sided, pointless, and hopeless but with the SCHSU you'll never have to fight alone again!

Current Agenda (As of 8/22/05):

> Doors on the bathroom stalls.

> Sign up sheet for class outdoors, same as the library sign up.

> Music for 30 minutes per week - a guaranteed gpa booster! "How can you talk when you cant hear?"!

> A revised discipline system edited and maintained by the student body and the SCHSU

> Relaxed restrictions on cell phones and other electronic devices.

> Class time set aside for intelligent discussion EVERYDAY because that IS where real learning occurs.

We as a student body can change our school to suit us. We will fight for what is right, just and fair. Do this not just for yourself but, do it for the people who have left their legacies and, especially those who haven't.
