KDKA Warning
[edit]I think the reason that "warning" was put up was because of a couple users warring back and forth and some vandalism. I know it doesn't really block the page, but it did stop the vandalism:) - SVRTVDude (Yell | Toil) 02:27, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
56k modem
[edit]1 start bit + 8 data bits + 1 stop bit == 10 bits per byte.
Thus a 56 kbit/second modem == 56000/10 bit per byte == 5600 bytes per second (after the start and stop bits are stripped). ---- Theaveng (talk) 18:00, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
- Okay, I forgot about the start and stop bits. Thanks for adding the note. Dragonix (talk) 18:21, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
