Yoshiko Ogata ^[1] is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics, School of Science, University of Tokyo.

Early life

Ogata attended Shizuoka University and obtained his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Probability Theory. He has his PhD degree from Tokyo University of Education^[2].

Career

Currently, Yoshiko is Professor Emeritus at Institute of Statistical Mathematics (ISM).

Awards

He was awarded Japan Statistical Society prize in 2002.
