Dr John Moseley was educated at Leeds University, he attained a Doctorate Degree in Geology. He graduated in 1971, then commencing to teaching training that same year.

He attended numerous schools and colleges, and in his later life he taught Physics and Chemistry at both A-Level and GCSE at the well known all boys Hutton Church of England Grammar School, Preston Lancashire.

He is now settled with his wife Elizabeth and his only son David, in the quiet village of Longton.

He retired in 2004 after suffering from a major heart attack, this then made him retire early from his career and spend more time with family and friends.
