I am an internal medicine physician with degrees from the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing and the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.  Currently, I am an ABC News Medical Contributor, physician to the Mother Cabrini missionary nuns, and I also do some consulting work for QIAGEN pharmaceutical company.  Previously, I have served as a health columnist for Women's Day magazine and a senior medical consultant for Lifetime's Strong Medicine, and have had the honor of being a guest on Oprah, The Today Show, and Good Morning America.
