Eugene D. S.

From the bottom, to even lower, and now finally Rising, I have gone threw a lot in my life. At the age of 18, I feel like I've lived 5 lifetimes.

Basic Background

I grew up in the Fenway-Kenmore neighborhood of Boston. I lived there for about 10 years with my Mother, Danielle S., my step-father, Juan O., my sister Christine O., and my brother Miguel O. Born in 1994 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Longwood, growing up in Boston was rough. It had it's ups and downs from family problems to gang violence, trust me, I've seen it all. Okay, maybe not all, but it is a lot in just the first 10 years.

The next 8 were spent in state custody between abusive foster homes and neglect-filled group homes, not to mention the bad kids within. Usually, on a daily basis, not only do you have to look out for kids, but also the "caretakers" too.
