I started out with Hip-Hop music in early 1993 with a couple of friends whom I played basketball with for a local league. My very first memory of me being an MC was when I use to ride in the bus to primary school; I was about 13 years old back then. At the time I belonged to a crew called Ruffneq Interscope Crew (RIC), it had three members namely Ruff, Shaq & Kulprit. Ruff was the beat-boxer and Shaq and I where the MC’s, we free-styled a lot at the time and we had ciphers in which we battled other schools and MC’s. We use to meet on Saturdays on the local basketball courts where we connected our sound system with two microphones and a DJ with two turntables. Part of my journey began on these courts, RIC broke up around 1995 and then I joined a group called the UNKNOWN Crew, which had four members namely TZEE (DJ) Killa Kane (DJ & Producer) KIWI (MC) & Kulprit (MC). The UNKNOWN Crew grew immensely we then changed our name to OAU (Omnipotent Army of the Underground), which had about 10+ members around 1997. The OAU opened up a Hip-Hop club called Zniko in 1998 we had started a movement of the Hip-Hop culture in Tembisa. About this time I started rapping solo also visiting the Y-FM rap activity Jam which I had won the MCee of the week on three occasions. The clubs continued until 1999 then OAU broke up then we formed a crew called Underground Worx, which comprised of 5 members this was in 2000. I'm currently performing at local shows namely Gata Lena every Sunday, Fire Sundays at Papa Chilos, Kasi Dream which is a flea market show and the Forefront Hip-Hop Movement each of these shows are only once a month usually the last Saturday and Sunday. Currently I have a solo project which is entitled "As life Unfolds" which is due to be released in August 2009. The project is about life experiences I've gone through, e.g. relationships the love and excitement that comes with meeting a new lady in ones life etc… I'm currently working on my new Single entitled 'SIYABANGENA' produced by Casper Sgi. I'm teaming up with my homey my ace Stan B for my latest project which will be entitled 'The Definition (Out of the dark into the light' to be released some time in 2014 under Stan producshizzle.
