Hi, I'm Evelyn!

I am currently finishing my undergraduate degree in geography from UC Berkeley, and I occasionally edit Wikipedia. I started out by creating an article on Lette Valeska, a photographer and artist. I have taken courses in the US Education Program titled "The Politics of Digital Piracy," in which I contributed to Trade group efforts against file sharing, and an ethnic studies class in which I contributed to Involuntary euthanasia. Other pages that I have contributed to include the Berkeley Student Food Collective, controlled burn, the All-American Canal and History of the cooperative movement.

I work for an organization called Compost Alliance which aims to institutionalize compost collection on my campus in order to reduce landfill waste. I care a lot about environmentalism and would like to promote sustainability in my future endeavors. I interned on a farm in summer 2012 and have a particular interest in sustainable agriculture. As a geography student I have taken classes in geographic information science and I generally enjoy cartography.

Thanks for visiting my user page and please let me know if you have any questions or concerns about my edits, or if you would like to collaborate on a project!
