My name is Eamon Ryan and I was born in Ireland.  When I was 12 my father – a retired academic medical researcher – was offered a position in Albania working in the neuro-science field. I personally never shared so much of an interest in the medical field – much to his discontent – and instead had an inkling for electrical engineering, which I work in today.

Earlier this year, my wife – a high school history teacher – took a sabbatical. While I started gardening, she started dabbling in Wikipedia editing and is always trying to discuss related matters with me.  I figured I would have a go myself so here I am!
