[edit]MAJULI:-The largest river island in the world .It's in the river Brahmaputra that originates from Lake Manas Sarowar in tibet and it flows throughout China and ASSAM, a boderstate in India. Majuli is approximately 925 square k.m. in area. It's area has been reducing gradually due to heavy flood and bank eroision .
