Hello World and fellow Yahooligans.............My name is Barney, really, and not the Purple Dinosaur or the Presidents' Dog. This Barney is alive and well in Las Vegas, soon to be alive and well in Colorado and tonight after discovering Wikipedia, I realize that my dear wife has been so right on for so long when she stated that I was "living in a box." Now, I understand my PhD-equipped wife completely and I agree with her.

IT IS SO EXCITING TO REALIZE THAT I CAN INFLUENCE THE THINKING OF A LOT OF PEOPLE RIGHT HERE AT MY KEYBOARD. I CAN TELL EVERYONE THAT I HAVE SURVIVED A 5-way bypass in 1992; Carotidectomies (both sides) in 1996; N0n-Hodgkins Lymphoma in 2002; Type 2 Diabetes (more than ten tears); Pneumonia (1954 &2002); Five heart attacks and last but not least, dying on the operating table last December for 2 minutes and returning. I am very, very thankful for this life.

I am 71 years young, have a pacemaker/defibrillator installed in my chest and am planning a move to Canon City, Colorado within the next month. My beautiful companion, Joanne, is working on a special couse of study that she wants to teach to small groups. It's all about life and how YOU WANT TO LIVE IT. I will tell you much more about Joanne's exciting concepts as we go along.
