Christopher Cantwell (born November 12th 1980, New York City) is an American anarcho-capitalist activist, politician and humorist.
Life[edit]
Cantwell, who is of Irish descent on his father's side and of Italian descent on his mother's, was born in New York City and grew up in Stony Brook. He was raised in a catholic-conservative household, but later became an atheist. He attended Ward Melville Highschool in Setauket, New York, but prior to graduation, he got arrested and was sentenced to 6 months in prison for theft, possession of Marihuana and driving under the influence of alcohol. He did however complete his General Education while in prison. After release, he attended Suffolk County Community College, but left without a degree.

Political Activism[edit]
Cantwell's activism began in 2009, when he - at that time still a constitutional minarchist - announced his run as Libertarian candidate for the 2010 election to the House of Representatives in New York's 1st Congressional District. However, he failed to collect the 3500 signatures necessary and therefore did not appear on the ballot.
Involvement with and expulsion from the Free State Project[edit]
Cantwell joined the Free State Project in 2012, but was kicked out of it in late 2013 and declared unwelcome at any FSP-organized events, for uttering opinions that the Free State Project described as advocacy of violence[2] but what he calls promotion of self-defense[3]. Nevertheless, Cantwell moved back to New Hampshire in June of 2014, despite his ongoing expulsion from the Free State Project.[4]
Other activism[edit]
From 2011 through 2013, he co-hosted Adam Kokesh on Adam vs. the man.
Since 2011, he has been the owner of a website.[5], where he discusses politics and social issues from his anarcho-capitalist perspective.
In addition to that, in 2013, he started a podcast, titled Some Garbage Podcast which he soon after renamed Radical Agenda[6].
