Dissertation: “From Bulk to Single Molecule – Effects of Crowding Agents and Mutations on the Activity and Folding of a Group II Intron Ribozyme”.
In this work, different techniques were used synergistically in order to characterize a large, catalytically active group II intron ribozyme. It was studied both the influence of molecular crowding on
folding and function of a functional ribozyme variant and the folding pathway by generating and characterizing a number of mutants.
