Artistic Practice
[edit]Working in both collage and sculpture, Elizabeth Zvonar’s work utilizes strategies of aesthetic seduction and sex often found in advertising as a means of teasing out a possible metaphysical or supernatural undercurrent. http://danielfariagallery.com/exhibitions/elizabeth-zvonar-the-challenge-of-abstraction, date retreved march 4, 2016.Daniel Faria Gallery -"Elizabeth Zvonar presents a complex, seductive, tounge-in-cheek exploration of the performative nature of the feminine persona. Her work mines both societal and self-imposed constructs of femninity, while also delving into broader conversations about metephysics, consumption and identity." Daily Serving: An International Publication for Contemporary Art, June 11, 2013. Caitlin Sutherland. "Artificial Two-Step: ELizabeth Zvonar's Banal Baroque"
