I was a business associate and confidant of artist, author and illustrator Esphyr Slobodkina in her late years. Since the year 2000, I have overseen all aspects of the Slobodkina Foundation, serving in the capacities of Director, Executive Director and currently as president for the past 11 years. I am considered an authority on Slobodkina’s life story and her contributions to American Abstract art and children’s picture books. Rediscovering Slobodkina: A Pioneer of American Abstraction. My mission

To provide critical information about the creative achievements of artist, author, and children’s book illustrator Esphyr Slobodkina as a founding member of the American Abstract artist group and noted children’s book author and illustrator.
