The Temptation of St. Anthony is a panel painting by Hieronymus Bosch or a follower. Completed c. 1500–1525, it depicts St. Anthony the Abbot in meditation, in a sunny landscape near the trunk of a dry tree. He is undisturbed by the demons surrounding him. The panel was held by the Escorial monastery, but is currently housed in the Museo del Prado in Madrid.
