The Atlanta Braves are an american baseball team that are part of the MLB, Major League Baseball. The MLB has 15 teams. The Atlanta Braves were established January 20, 1871. Originally they were first known as the Boston Braves from 1912-1952. They then were renamed as the Milwaukee Braves in 1953. The Braves finally moved to Atlanta in 1996. The Braves had a winning streak early in their teams career, however they lost that winning streak during the time of switching teams. When they finally found the final home in Atlanta, the Braves began to win again after a few seasons. 1994 was a tremendous year due to the players with incredible statistics and their wining season. The team in 1994 was the start of a team that was to win the World Championship in 1995.
