Kilbirnie Amateurs

Kilbirnie Amateurs were formed in the summer of 2009 and are part of the Kilbirnie Community Football Club.

Manager - Peely Ass Manager - Ritchie Wilson Director of Football - Stevie Wilson President (not to mention chief of the rubs) Tom Bird Committee members - John Robson, Ian Wright and Marshall Sloss Captain - Andrew Tait Vice Captain - Graeme Wright

The season began with great expectation as several big guns with junior experience joined forces to form a dream team of epic proportions. Names such as John Todd a current Kilbirnie Ladeside captain and a seasoned veteran with a back catalogue of clubs that includes Irvine Meadow and Auchinleck Talbot, James Gillhuley who has played in goals for clubs as average as Darvel Juniors, Andy Tait and Ewan Jamieson who continually failed to hit the heights at Dalry Thistle, Ritchie Wilson - a fine passer of the ball with a football brain whos best days were behind him. Other notable players include Graeme Wright, Marshall Sloss, Derek Chalmers Kevin Crawford - a player who can run like the wind, Brian Wallace, McLeish, Scott Nedved - a striker who is ok at best among many others.

The first game began in some style with wily old campaigner John Todd showing his experience and skill by bagging the first. The lanky Ewan Jamieson then knocked in a quick fire double on the way to an 8-0 route of Kilmarnock Town.
