The exhibition presents a section dedicated to the ancient past of the region. More than 70 archaeological sites have been identified on the territory — settlements of the Stone Age, Bronze Age and Early Iron; settlements, settlements and burial mounds of ancient Russian time. In the museum there are stone crosses — a kind of travel and border signs and tombstones. Including the famous Lopastitsky cross with a sign stamped on it (tamga).

The exhibition features unusual birch bark wicker boots ("khodoki") and various lapty and chunis, pistons, leather boots sewn by a master and pads for making children's shoes.

The exhibition also presents fishing items: a box, clay sinkers, awns, nets, a measure, and finally, photos of lakes and rivers of the parish.

The museum presents a rich collection collected in local villages: huge transverse and longitudinal saws, hooks, scrapers, axes with stamps, planes, saws, a machine for peeling shingles.

The products of various local woodcarvers are interesting: beer ladles, troughs, salt shakers, spoons, stupas.

The furniture of the peasant interior gives an idea of the skill of local carpenters.

The icons on display date back to the beginning of the XIX century, when the church was especially decorated.

The part of the exposition dedicated to the Soviet period is located on the second floor of the building in three small halls and contains documentary, photographic and clothing material.
