Introduction:[edit]

Fayaz Naich (فياض نائڃ) is a Journalist/anchorperson based in Karachi,Sindh,Pakistan. He has been working in leading electronic media houses of Pakistan since 2005. During his career he has conducted thousands of interviews and talk shows on day to day development on the political and economic scenario of Pakistan, South Asia and the world. He has also written hundreds of articles in different publications. Politics, Economy, Foreign policy, democracy, rule of law, human rights, Elections of different countries, regional and international conflicts and cooperation, role of global powers in shaping the future of developing nations, afghan war, middle east, proxy wars , drought, floods, cyclones, Disaster management, Impact of wars, refuges, terrorism, jihadist networks, terror finance have been the main topics of his programs and writings. Early Life:[edit]

Born on November 30, 1970 in the house of a very poor man at a village Darwesh Naich Taluka Meerpur Mathelo district Ghotki Sindh Pakistan. His father Mohammed Ibrahim Naich used to be a tailor master. His mother Lal Khatoon was a house wife. He is the youngest among the four siblings. His mother died when he was just four years old, he was raised by his grand father (نانا), grand mother (ناني) , and uncle (مامو). His uncle Haji lal Bux Naich, a high school teacher played very vital role in his early education.

Education:[edit]

He received early education from the primary school of his village, later attended high school at Jarwar and college at Sukkur[2]. He was selected in the civil engineering department of Mehran University of Engineering and Technology Jamshoro [3].

University Life:[edit]

During his life at university he joined a student's political organization called "Sindhi Shagird Tahreek" (SST)[4]. He remained the General Secretary of SST for four years. During this period he traveled to villages, towns and cities across the Sindh. He also participated in the meetings of PONM Pakistan Oppressed Nations Movement. After university life he also participated in local government elections of 2002 from union council Garhi Chakar, district Ghotki as a Naib Nazib, but was defeated.

Journalism:[edit]

He joined Sindh Tv Network [5] in February 2005. He started a prime time political Talk shows on Sindh Tv Network with different banners i.e. "Neth Chha Kajay?"[6] (نيٺ ڄا ڪجي)[7] means "what is to be done?"[8][9], Dialogue , Business & Economy, Jaizo [10] means Analysis. He worked with KTN News. He conducted a prime time talk show "Discussion"[11]. He has conducted long transmissions on Pakistan Budget from 2006 to 2017 at Sindh Tv News and KTN News. He also conducted special transmissions on US presidential elections 2008, general elections of Pakistan in 2008,2023 and local government election in 2015. He covered US elections 2012 from Washington DC and Virginia. Currently he is working as director current affairs at Sindh Tv Network and hosting a prime time talk show "Behind the News" [12], [13], [14].
