ARETE INVEST investiční fond s proměnným základním kapitálem, a.s. is a Czech investment company with variable capital (SICAV) which focuses on investments in completed and already leased commercial real property that generates regular revenues from rent: manufacturing and logistics parks and shopping centres or administrative buildings whose construction was already completed and which have a stable tenant structure that can be assessed. The fund operates in the territory of the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

2014[edit]
- 06/2014 - ARETE INVEST, investiční fond s proměnným základním kapitálem, a.s. was founded
- 08/2014 - The investment fund obtained a license from the Czech National Bank
- 12/2014 - With the consent of the Czech National Bank, the company’s first sub-fund was established - ARETE INVEST CEE (as one of the first ones established under the new SICAV regulations in the territory of the Czech republic).
2015[edit]
- 01/2015 - Purchase of a residential portfolio for the ARETE INVEST CEE sub-fund consisting of about 300 housing units, opening of active property management and continuous property appreciation.
- 01/2015 - Arranging for the sub-fund financing by a bank (the first company owned by a SICAV investment sub-fund in the territory of the Czech Republic co-financed by Raiffeisenbank).
2016[edit]
- 03/2016 - With the consent of the Czech National Bank, ARETE INVEST established already the second investment sub-fund ARETE INVEST CEE II.
- 04/2016 - Purchase of the first three companies that own industrial real estate in the territory of the Czech Republic (Uherské Hradiště, 2x Lovosice) for the second sub-fund.
- 04/2016 - The first company owned by a SICAV investment fund in the territory of the Czech Republic financed by UniCreditBank Group.
- 07/2016 - Purchase of another two companies that own industrial real estate in the territory of the Czech Republic (Písek) for the ARETE INVEST CEE II portfolio.
- 10/2016 - Successful sale of the residential portfolio owned by the first ARETE INVEST CEE sub-fund, an investment fund with international banking structure.
- 11/2016 - ARETE INVEST joined the Alternative Investment Management Association in London: www.aima.org.

- 01/2017 - ARETE INVEST CEE II proactively initiates its business activities in Slovakia, investment in the acquisition of a company that owns industrial property in Žilina.
- 04/2017 - Purchase of two companies that own AAA Class property in Slovakia (Nové Mesto nad Váhom).
- 05/2017 - Closing the ARETE INVEST CEE sub-fund and concurrent appreciation of invested funds of over 100 % p.a. for the period of 26 months of the active sub-fond portfolio management.
- 06/2017 - ARETE INVEST received a special award for innovation and transparency on the Czech investment market by the Czech Top 100 association, which monitors the most important and successful businesses in the Czech Republic.
