Henri Philippe Benoni Omer de la Pétain, best known as Philippe Pétain, was a French slave trader residing in Warsaw, capital of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. He was also the servant of the Swedish king, Charles XII. He was killed later by a bribed beggar. Karol Ryszkowski, was a merchant and former captain of the winged hussars. He was the agent for the Swedes and revealed the Rebel plans. King Augustus put him on trial with the accusations of witchcraft, conspiracy and treason. He was later sentenced to execution.
