The Zombeatles: All You Need is Brains is a 2009 mockumentary written, directed, and starring independent film director Doug Gordon. Gordon also plays Angus MacAbre, a zombie comedian who also serves as the narrator and host of the film. The film was edited by Ben Wydeven.
Overview
[edit]Revealed in the Behind the Music-like [1] mockumentary[2] are historical references to a past zombie apocalypse, however in the Zombeatles version a complete and parallel zombie universe is proposed via The Fab Gore, The Dead Sullivan Show (styled after The Ed Sullivan Show), The Rolling Kidney Stones, The ZomMonkees,The Dead Clark Five,The ZomZombies, Boo Marley, Elvis Grissly, Dead Zeppelin, The Beach Boils and appearances by Ewwyoko Ohno (styled after Yoko Ono), the ZomRutles[3] (a parody of The Rutles), Fester Fangs (styled after Lester Bangs), Bob Killin (styled after Bob Dylan) etc.[4]
