The University of British Columbia (Okanagan Campus) Psychology department has 24 faculty members and is part of UBCs world renowned psychology program. Unlike its sister program in Vancouver it offers both a bachelor of arts in psychology and a bachelor of science in psychology.

General Information

The last recorded amount of students was 741.[1] UBCO Psychology promotes its small knit community while still providing the same quality of education as UBC Psychology. The UBCs psychology ranking is 1st in Canada and 13th in the world according to Times Higher Education.[2]

Research

UBCO psychology department has spent over 5.8 million dollars on research since 2005/2006 and has funded 265 projects. Research subjects include: the use of cannabis and neural effects, rural mental health, substance use, social and personality and cognitive.[4]
