Finnikiny is a high school student who began editing Wikipedia articles due to boredom on January 12th, 2024. Subsequently, he created an account to avoid being confused with other users from his IP address.

Experience

Finnikiny has not rigorously studied the Style Guide, nor is he an expert in coding websites. As of now, most edits will be minor grammar fixes or rewording clunky statements. He has also stated that he is "scared of being yelled at by Wikipedia mods on the internet."

Hobbies

In his spare time, Finnikiny enjoys cross country running and track; sketching and drawing; and playing with his cat (coincidentally also named Finnikin after the novel, Finnikin of the Rock.)

Notable Contributions

Before creating his account, Finnikiny contributed 3 minor edits to the scope of human knowledge. First, several years prior, an edit lost to time and moderation adding a mention of his favorite podcast, Dear Hank & John to the page Vlogbrothers. Mere hours before making this page in 7th period IB Physics, Finnikiny corrected a statement about Arch Manning's college enrollment and rephrased a line about a song included in Bo Burnham's 2021 special, Inside.
