LoxyBot has several requirements:
- A server with a fairly fast internet connection that is online when you are.
- PHP 5
- PHP's cURL module
- PHP-CLI (the PHP command link interface)
- Write access to a directory on the server you will run the bot off
- cron / crontab
- Basic knowledge of PHP to run the bot
- Intermediate knowledge of PHP to debug errors
- PHPediaWiki framework
- LoxyBot has only been tested on Linux and Mac, Windows may work
- PHP has internet access to http://en.wikipedia.org/w/api.php
