Darugaries (Dullgullies / Dalguries) is a Botanical Psychedelic Jam Rock Band in Japan. Formed in 2002.
Summary
[edit]In 2002, at Tennoji, Osaka, Koichiro Miyaoka suddenly came up with an idea and produced several songs by combining singing and chorus with a minimalist feeling of analog instrument performance and oriental floating feeling.
They began their activities as a music band taking over the name of Darugaries, one of the experimental units that had developed just before.
The initial members were Takashi Kumagai (mainly active as a drummer at that time), and guitarist Norio Sato, who was inclined to CREAM etc. (sampler etc. in Darugaries).
The frame as a band form is ambiguous, and since members frequently come and go, jump in and out, and are absent, only Miyaoka is basically fixed, and the other members are fluid jam players.
Performance form
[edit]Darugaries was formed in Osaka, Japan in 2002.
They play a kind of traditional, psychedelic meditation music in an idle performance. Their music is founded on bass guitar around which voices, wind instruments and electronics weave.
We can also hear electronics and percussion played on whatever found objects are at hand. Members and musical instruments come and go as time passes. On One of tour the band is playing Bass, Trumpet, Clarinet, Tronbone and Electronics.
