Shchanov Vladimir Ivanovich (Sianow-Shchanov-Skjanow-Sjanow-Schanov-Szczanow-Shanow)- The Reverend Father Vladimir. Was born in 1957 in the city of Lyskovo of the Nizhniy Novgorod area. Writer,aerologist(polar and ocean's explorer), philologist, theologian,photographer. Last decade was engaged also in divinity and History of Orthodox Churchs in Russia and America. More often it was necessary to happen in Italy, Spain, Germany, the countries of Scandinavia and Africa, and to live also in Chukotka, Southern Sakhalin, Urals Mountains, in Central Asia, in Ukraine. A member of the Union of journalists since 1984. In journalism has worked about 21 years though was also the seaman and the teacher in high school. He is singer-songwriter about for 30 years. In 2004 there was in a press a first prosaic book of "Story". The books "Lyskovo's Toponymy" and "Life of St.Makary Yellowoters" were printed in Moscow at 2010&2012. At present he is the priest of Russian Orthodox Church (serves in St.Makary Zheltovodsky (Yellowwaters) monastery since 1996).
