Nicholas Joseph Mueller (born December 1, 1990) is an American former professional baseball catcher.
Amateur career
[edit]Mueller attended Ozark High School in Ozark, Missouri, where he played on the schools baseball team. As a junior, he was named a Rawlings/Perfect Game Preseason All-America Honorable Mention. As a senior, Mueller was voted All-State. He was voted First Team All-Conference and All-Area as both a junior and a senior, and named "Player of the Year" by the Springfield News-Leader. In 2008, Mueller helped lead Ozark to the Missouri Class 4 State Championship.
After graduating in 2008, he enrolled at North Central Texas College.
Professional career
[edit]Mueller was drafted in the 14th round of the 2009 Major league baseball draft.
