Biography[edit]

Graduated in Environmental Economics at Università degli studi Roma Tre in 2001, he started his professional career in IBM. In 2008 he quit the IT business to devote himself to full time writing. He had started writing in 1996; first a poem collection, and then a novel: Antidoti umani (Human Antidotes), finalist at the Premio Urania (Mondadori) in 2004. But it was his second novel, e-Doll.[1] who marked his success with the Urania Mondadori Award in 2009. His third book Livido (Livid), a dark fantasy novel was finished in 2010. In 2011 he wrote BloodBusters, a contemporary fiction novel, and started a fifth one - I Camminatori (The Walkers). Presently, beside writing, Francesco Verso co-operates with on-line magazines and co-directs a collection of e-books, called Avatar for the Kipple Officina Libraria.

He works for the fanzine NeXT and with Kipple Officina Libraria [2] as co-editor of the fantastic literature book series Avatar.
