Beauraing Railway Station[edit]

Beauraing station is a Belgian railway station on line 166 (Neffe to Bertrix), located on the territory of the city of Beauraing in the Walloon Region in the province of Namur.

It was taken into service in 1895 by the Belgian State railways. It is a station of the National Railway Company of Belgium (SNCB) served by Omnibus (L) and Peak (P) trains.

Railway situation[edit]

Located at an altitude of 180 metres, the station stands at kilometre point (KP) 22.20 of line 166 (Neffe–Bertrix), between the two open stations of Houyet and Gedinne.

History[edit]

Beauraing station was commissioned on October 22, 1895, by the Belgian State Railways when they opened the Houyet to Beauraing section of the line.

In January 2004, the station was served by AR41 railcars with a service "every two hours in each direction" and a supplement at peak hours. It has a passenger building with a waiting room and toilets. The station has two platforms, the central platform is accessible by a pedestrian underpass with stairs.

Reception desk[edit]

This SNCB station has a passenger building, with a ticket office, open from Monday to Friday and closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

An underground tunnel runs under the track and gives access to the central platform.

Lines[edit]

Beauraing is served by SNCB omnibus (L) and peak hour (P) trains, which run on line 166.

During the week, the service includes one omnibus train per hour from Namur to Libramont via Dinant and one train every two hours on weekends and public holidays.

There are also two weekday morning rush hour trains from Dinant to Bertrix.

Intermodality[edit]

A bicycle park and a parking lot are provided. The buses on line 49 of the Namur-Luxembourg TEC network serve the station.
