Love revealed on May 11, 2006 on the Howard Stern Show that while she was raised as a Catholic, she converted to Judaism later in life. She also stated that she was married and would like to have children in the near future.[1] During an interview with Gamelink in 2007, she claimed to be in an open relationship with a man whom she said was only the third real relationship she had ever had with a man.[2]
Shy has an overbite that affects her speech.[3]
Adult Film Career[edit]
In addition to starring in porn, Shy Love has become a producer, director, and talent manager. Shy Love has appeared in more than 250 adult films, and has appeared as herself on TV several times. Starting in 2004 she began directing and producing films.[4] She started her own talent agency, Adult Talent Managers, and signed Memphis Monroe, and Lisa Daniels as contract girls. Shy claims that her company's representation of gay men in addition to women is unique in the industry.[2]
In the lead-in to her appearance in an "Anal Pounding" video she stated that she had gone to college in Florida and had a bachelor's degree and two master's degrees. She frequently wears a wedding ring while performing and is known primarily for her participation in anal sex videos, she ensured that almost 75% of her scenes include anal sex.[citation needed]
She is part-owner of a nightclub in Colorado Springs called 13 Pure, which opened up in January 2008.[5]
