Welcome to my page. I chose to present myself and work here as Frederico L - inspired by a near-namesake, Spanish poet and playwright Federico García Lorca.

A friend of mine once said that the Spanish Civil War was the last time that everything was clear.

Here's what Lorca said about the relationship between poetry, theatre and life:

"Theatre is poetry that rises from the book and becomes human enough to talk and shout, weep and despair."

Another near-namesake is Federico Fellini, the Italian filmmaker and fantasist.
