MURADPUR- It is a village in Garhmukteshwar Tehseel of Hapur district in the westen part of Uttar Pradesh(india).Nearest market is in Simbhaoli(4 kilometre from Muradpur), which falls on National Highway 24.Population of this village is about 10000 . Most of the people are indulged in agriculture or work as laborer in unorganised sector. Socio economic standard of population is low .There is lack of qualified doctor and people have to depend upon Quacks which are in abundance. Education level is low , although it has increased at a fast pace in last decade. Dominanat religion in this village is Islam and dominant caste is Muslim Tyagi ,which is also known as Chowdhary or Maheshra caste. Other castes are ,salmani, Saifi,Dhobi,Hindu tyagi, Harijan& Valmikis .Hindus constitute about 20 percent population of the village. There are three Mosques and two Temples in Muradpur .People live in communal harmony and there is no history of communal riots in this village.There is a Islamic seminary(Madarsa),one private school and one Govt. High school .There is a primary health center , which is not functionning due to official apathy. There is a playground , which is not well maintained as funds allocated for it are cornered off by concerned officials and Village Pradhan.
