I'll improve the quality of this later; right now it's just a series of thoughts

What if Wikipedia started a program/drive to bring more conservative editors to Wikipedia? Many external sources have analyzed Wikipedia and found it to have a slight liberal bias (see Ideological bias on Wikipedia), and conservative criticism of this bias is prevalent (i.e. not fringe; see Criticism of Wikipedia#Partisanship). By being invited specifically to edit, they feel welcome and needed, and hopefully some of the bad blood is cleared up at least, even if the number of useful editors Wikipedia gains is minimal.

There are already many Wikimedia projects that specifically encourage women, for example, to edit Wikipedia in opposition of systemic bias (see meta:Women), so I think this idea has precedent.

Obviously, the editors this would bring in would be biased, but once again, there’s already an observed systemic left-leaning bias in place, and bringing woman editors in for the express reason that Wikipedia is biased against them also inevitably brings in editors that are biased in favor of feminism. Biased people can follow the rules (which I find to be pretty neutral).

Worst-case scenario, nobody bothers to follow the rules and everyone has to be banned (which would never happen). Best-case scenario, Wikipedia becomes more neutral, it becomes more respected by more people, and it becomes a better repository of all human knowledge.
