I would find more information on film critics. I would probably add more on whats different between all critics out there. I would probably add more citations on the article. Add some critics names in there and put what type of critic they are, and who they write for.

Film Critics
What made film critics become what they are today? Well I heard that come critics got into film really early in life. Some just liked sitting there and watching movies and they got hooked. Some film critics as a child liked watching movies and then writing about them on what they see in the film that some people might even notice. Movie critics didn't make that much money back then. Back then they only made about $24,000 a year and now in 2018 they make about $55,000-$65,000. It also depends on what kind of critic you become. There is online critics, newspaper critics, and magazine critics as well. It also matters on if your and art critic, movie critic, tv show critics. There is so many critics out there its hard to keep up.

History
What do you think about when you hear people talking about movie critics? What do you think movie critics do? Back then they didn't have movie theaters with nice fancy chairs that lean back, soft, or all the food they have now. Back then was called a drive-in movie theater. That is when you drive to an open park and park your car and just sit there with a big screen in front of you. You could choose to sit in your car or sit on top of your car on the outside. When you go to a drive-in movie you would have to hook up this cored into your car so you could hear the movie because your so far back and of course its outside at night so you have all the animal noises. The types of food they would sell at the drive-in movie would just be popcorn and soda that would be it. If you wanted more food you would have to bring your own from home. Drive-in movies would be very popular back then but now they still have them you would have to search for one. Now in life to this current day more people watch movies at an indoor movie theater or on there couch in there living rooms. When people like to watch movies they like to be comfortable in there sweat pants and pjs at home so they don't have to get all dressed up with nice clothes and make up on.
Money
As of 2013 film critics make about $82,000[1]. Newspaper and Magazine critics would make $27,364-$49,574[2]. Online movie critics would make $2-$200 per review[3]. TV critics would make up to $40,000-$60,000 per month[4].
Film critics do more than just sit there watching movies and then just writing their opinion on it. Everyone out there thinks movie critics out there make a good amount of money just to do nothing. When film critics review a movie they just don't watch it, they look more into the movie that other people can't see. They look at the mood of each scene that is taken, they look at where they cut the films, they describe the types of camera angles that they use, they tell you why the director choose that type of music to go in the scenes. Film critics will pretty much tell you if the film is engaging, funny, scary[5].
There is some many ways you can go for film criticism. You can write for the online companies for films, you can write for a magazine company, or you could even write for the newspaper. The newspaper is losing their film critics because everything is going on the web now where no one reads the newspaper[6]. Micah Mertes watched 125 movies in 2017 and did a review on every single one[7].
Female
They say that men and women reviews do not differ[8]. Also they say that men write more articles then women[9].
