This user page is for an alternative account used by an established editor under the guidance of Wikipedia’s guidelines on Sockpuppets, specifically Legitimate uses of alternative accounts.

I have created this alternative account for reasons 3 and 4 under Segregation and security. In short, my real world identity could easily be determined from my main account user page and I do not wish my edits in my area of professional expertise (engineering in the field of energy) to be associated with my edits on “less weighty” matters (i.e. Scooby-Doo and anime) and controversial issues of politics and religion.

I am familiar with the Wikipedia guidelines on Conflict of Interest and commit to follow them, specifically including not making edits to my employers’ articles under this account beyond those explicitly called out by the COI guidelines as acceptable (i.e. correcting typos, fixing broken links, etc.). I own stock in all of the companies in the S&P 500 through mutual funds, but do not own any individual stock in a quantity that would prompt COI concerns; regardless I do not consider WP articles to have any material impact on any financial market which preempts such concerns.
