Mediation Conferences are a proposed monthly meeting of all interested mediators on Wikipedia. These meetings would allow for critical review of past cases and a forum for mediators to seek assistance with current cases. The knowledge provided also be a learning experience for all mediators, allowing them to practice more effectively and competently

The meeting would open with a discussion of a past case. Through careful review, mistakes of the past can be prevented from reoccuring. Mediators would also be able to evaluate the health of the system, identifying areas that may require change.

Next on the agenda would be a short discussion with a guest on a mediation related topic. The format would allow for questions to the guest, leading to greater knowledge retention.

The final part of the meeting would be an open floor for anyone to bring a case that they require help with. It is hoped that this will result in mediators leaving the meeting with new approaches that can prevent a case stagnating or proceeding further through dispute resolution.
