ARTICLE NOTES
1. CREDIBILITY / WIKIPEDIA ARTICLE (SUMMARY)
-The main component of credibility is to make a source reliable, believable, or trustworthy for the public.
In other words, the information presented on journals, street papers, and scientific papers has to be from reliable sources. But in order to develop that credibility, a mutual collaboration has to be done by many people who know about the topic. For example, a scientist developing a new theory will need his peers collaboration to make the paper a reliable source. His peers will start testing the theory until many of them find the same results. That same process has to be followed by many journalist in other to present a credible source.
In the "communicative action theory", created it by Jürgen Habermas, understandability lead by truth, sincerity, and appropriateness work as keys to develop credibility.

The article is proper referenced with a source in each fact, and the sources are from many neutral journals that make the sources credible. However, one of link is broken. The last update was on December 10, 2016, which make the article out of date. Many conversation were behind the scene too, but I could not see them. The article is also part of the WikiProject.
2. WIKIPEDIA AS A TOOL FOR 21st CENTURY TEACHING AND LEARNING
- Suggests that understanding what Wikipedia is, will allow teachers to use this tool properly in college or another educational setting. Wikipedia is define by Wikipedia as "a collaboratively edited, multilingual, free Internet encyclopedia that is supported by the nonprofit Wikimedia Foundation.” Wikipedia provides information about any topic which makes it useful for students. A Wikipedia article can be created by anyone, which make Wikipedia a "unreliable" source for many educators. Wikipedia only uses information contained in journals, books (produced by respected publishing houses), university-level textbooks, and magazines (mainly use by universities) which according to them make Wikipedia a reliable encyclopedia.

I did not know that Wikipedia was ranked in the top five most visited pages and that is the largest encyclopedia in the world (according to the article). I also did not how criticize this encyclopedia was by many educators as teachers. All the other information contains in the article I already knew it from previous Wikipedia readings.
3. NEUTRAL POINT OF VIEW.
It surprised me about the next aspects:
-NPOV is one of the three Wikipedia policies.
-Avoid opinions, watch for the tone used, and watch for where the sources come from.
I would summarize by saying that: The point of view represented in any Wikipedia writing has to be unbiased.
