Mister and Miss Mindanao

The newly organized beauty pageant in Davao City, Philippines, The Mister and Miss Mindanao 2012, just crowned handsome, beauty and brains who would represent the organization on all its causes and would possibly compete on a higher level of beauty quest.

Seven beautiful ladies and 5 handsome men showcased themselves Thursday, October 18, 2012 at the Almendras Gymnasium for the coronation ball. All are well deserving who passed the special screening held by the organizers at the Grand Menseng Hotel and scheduled final appearances.

This year is the 1st year of the mister and miss Mindanao pageant and it has it's pre-pageant show and official public presentation held at the Abreeza - Ayala Mall of Davao to pre-screen the candidates on their shorts and talent competition. This year’s competition was hosted by the country’s young and gorgeous aspiring Independent film star for Positive, Ricky Baltolore and an expert and well equipped 5vibe singer Darwin Gueverro.

These talented candidates were good representation on the whole Mindanao. In fact, they proudly represented their own cities and municipalities.

Meanwhile, the pageant ended crowning 21-year-old Carol Ann Agosto as 1st runner-up Miss Mindanao 2012, who is a graduate of Brokenshire College of Davao City; Maricar Cagumay of Bagangga was crowned as Miss Mindanao 2012; 22-years-old Kevin Castanos as 1st runner-up Mister Mindanao 2012; Aaron Paul Ortega also of Brokenshire College of Davao City for Mister Mindanao 2012 grand title. Aaron Paul is an Information Technology student while Maricar Cagumay was a former student of Holy Cross of Davao city.
