[edit]A homecoming celebration was held by the Clare City Council and Ennis Municipal District on 23 July and was attended by over 35,000 people.[1] The celebration began at Wolfe Tones GAA club grounds in Shannon, continued through Clarecastle, and ended at Fair Green Park in Ennis.[2] The Cork GAA and City Council held their own homecoming celebration for the runners-up at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh on 22 July,[3] which was attended by approximately 8,000 fans.[4]
