Sophia Kunin (née Shaver; born April 3, 1997) is an American former professional ice hockey forward.

Kunin first played with the United States women's national under-18 ice hockey team in 2014, recording two assists in a series against Canada. She then represented the United States at the 2015 IIHF World Women's U18 Championship, scoring one goal and assisting on two others.[1] Kunin and the United States won gold at the tournament, defeating Canada 3–2 in overtime.[2]
Personal life
[edit]Kunin met her husband, National Hockey League (NHL) player Luke Kunin, while they were both playing ice hockey at the University of Wisconsin.[3] The couple married in 2023.[4] Outside of hockey, Kunin has worked as a commercial real estate agent in Nashville and in Wayzata.[3][5]
